over this past week all of our rivers are in great shape! the mountain stream dryfly action has begun finally and the big green and grey drakes are hatching same with the larger stoneflies!!! the bulltrout are on the move aswell and we have seen some good fish caught by myself friends and clients!!! the bow river has fishing well also with some excellent fish being caught on streamers, adult stonefly patterns and various caddis and mayfly nymphs/adults... i recommend yall get out there and enjoy the beautiful weather while you can and excellent action! we have had the unfortunate luck of running into alot of hard fighting fish this past week and not all of the larger fish have bin put in the net :p but i would like to thank all of the clients for few effort and hopefully next time we can land the ones that got away :)

over this past week we have bin all over. the mountain streams are still higher than normal this year but flowing clear. not many bugs are hatching yet, BUT! they should he hatching soon. tons of nymphs with dark backs and the odd stonefly schuck kicking around means the ecpi dryfly fishing july usually offers is going too happen any day! We have done good with nymphs on these streams but have not got many with of a large size so far. the bow river has dropped conciderablly and the golden stoneflies are hatching and the fish are gorging on them! here are a few photos from the past 4 days

june fishing
first off my appologies for last year we simply spent too much time fishing and i didnt have a ton of time to keep my blog up to date! but this year i plan on dedicating time atleast weekly to keep yall posted on how our rivers are fishing!!! the month of june has bin nothing but rain. the rivers are way up some are clear and the rest are clearing. the dryfly fishing is pretty much out the window for a week atleast but with the warm weather and lack of rain all of your river should be in shape soon! salmon flies are hatching on the crow the golden stones are hatching in the bow and our mountain streams are dropping and the bug life will begin too happen any day now!
